YOUR I ♥ Shiva TEAM
Music is my life; I breathe Music, I eat Music, I live Music and I bleed Music. It all began when I was a little guy and I used to bang on anything I could from buckets, pots, pans, to playing along with my dad, who is a avid singer/musician. In elementary school I became part of a more structured music environment and picked up the trumpet and have never really looked back from there.
As time went on, I developed an extreme interest in the creation of sounds and how to put these sounds together to create My Music. I would emulate many of the sounds and rhythms from different types of music ranging from Old & New school Hip Hop to Old and New school Bollywood/Bhangra. I forced myself to learn many different types of instruments to satisfy my need for success ranging from the keyboards, dhol, tumbi, tablas, trumpet and pretty much anything I could get my hands on.
Today I create my OWN music, no samples, no demos just pure RI Productions.
In addition to my original sound I write my own lyrics to add to the sound. To get a sample of my work, I stage my musical creations at I(heart)Shiva Bollywood nights that take place every 2nd and 4th Saturday at The Baltic Room in Seattle. The night has become a permanent fixture in the Emerald City’s club scene since it started over 7 years ago.
I plan on releasing my solo album titled "The Playbook" in the coming months. All the music from the production, lyrics, and the mixing is pure RI Productions.

From doodles to design...2008 gave my art color.
Henna, or as its more popular South Asian term, Mehndi, symbolizes hope and happiness. I never planned on being an artist, but like henna, it only truly takes it form and color after careful thought, dedication and patience. And before I knew it, the palms of my business had reached that deep reddish stain that we all desire.
My art allows me continuously connect with my Indian heritage, but also gives me the opportunity to share and learn from others. My art allows me to be a part of such an exciting time in someone’s life. I enjoy the celebratory festival not only with the bride, but with her family and friends as well. It is an honor to be selected as the henna artist for any individual on any occasion. I had the pleasure of meeting Manpreet at a wedding where I did the bridal henna. Since September 2010, I've been a part of his team at I Heart Shiva. DJ Manpreet and RI Productions have been bringing our culture, bollywood and bhangra music to Seattle for 9 years now. I’m honored to be a part of their team! Every night is unique with new music and you’re guaranteed to have a good time!
Along with being a Henna Artist, I'm also a licensed cosmetologist and certified in threading. In March 2012, I will be completing my studies as a Licensed Esthetician and Instructor at the Gary Manuel Institute. I'm also currently a Stylist in Downtown Seattle.
None of this would have been possible without the constant love and support from my family and friends.
Henna brings out the color in all of us.
