NINE YEARS IN THE MAKING

9 years ago at The Baltic Room, I ♥ Shiva gave rise to the BOLLYWOOD/BHANGRA movement in Seattle, quickly making it one of the most essential and anticipated nights in the city. 

Over the years, the infamous night has put Seattle on the map as one of the top destinations for BOLLYWOOD/BHANGRA music and also has opened doors for many local artists and DJ’s. 

I ♥ Shiva’s goal has been to make BOLLYWOOD/BHANGRA part of the mainstream music scene in Seattle and, ultimately, rest of the US. The way Seattle has taken in I ♥ Shiva over the last 9 years, the dream is quickly becoming a reality.

ABOUT THE NIGHT 

I ♥ Shiva’s inventions, remixes, and mergers of different genres of music, infused with a heavy dose of Bollywood and Bhangra, has forced Seattle to take notice rapidly making it an essential part of the City's club and music scene. The original compositions are created by DJ Manpreet and RI Productions.

In addition to DJ duty, RI Productions adds his exclusive “Sounds of the Dhol” LIVE percussion set to the mix; increasing the temperature and bringing everyone to the dance floor. From there, the party is taken to the next level as he brings the heat with his own original LIVE HipHop sound.

Throughout the night, alongside RI Productions and DJ Manpreet is MC Eko directing the flow of the night and the flow of the dance floor as the official Master of Ceremonies for I ♥ Shiva.

THE BEGINNING

I ♥ Shiva was founded 9 years ago by Ike Singh, Bally Kehal, Michael Antonia, Peter Madril, and Manpreet Wadan to show Seattle the Festive and Musical side of India. Over the years, the night has become more than just a party; it has become a Musical Cultural Movement that has gone mainstream by bringing the whole city together. We can now enjoy a very authentic, unique experience without ever leaving the City!

OUR GOAL

Our goal of making BOLLYWOOD and BHANGRA mainstream in Seattle has come true. The new goal now is to get the rest of the country to respond in a similar fashion. With artists like RI Productions and DJ Manpreet, it shouldn't take too much longer for rest of the country to take notice.
